Anna Naomi Hoover, devoted Wife, beloved Mother and cherished Grandmother passed away on September 23rd, 2015 at home in Conowingo Maryland at the age of 71.

Anna was born in Baltimore MD in 1944  to an Irish Mother and a Cherokee American Indian Father.

She attended St. Rose of Lima and Catholic High School before beginning her  career with The Department of Defense in Ft. Meade, MD.

Highly intelligent and evolved, Anna was an avid reader and studied the mysteries of the metaphysical.  She greatly enjoyed learning about the paranormal and was fascinated by ghost hunting and what lies ahead in the next life.  She was fascinated with all things Egyptian.

She also enjoyed traveling and boating on the Chesapeake Bay with her beloved husband Lou; they both loved going to the Ocean or cruising Alaska to celebrate their anniversary. They dearly loved being together….True soul mates in this life and the next.

Anna found true pleasure in being a care taker to MANY of God’s “furry creatures”.  She LOVED all animals and gave homes to many strays.

Christmas was Anna’s favorite holiday. Her love for the season shined through in the great care and preparation she took in preparing the house, the meals and the gifts for her family.  Treasured memories that will last a life time for her family.

Anna found her greatest joy and fulfillment in devoting herself  to her family and it showed in every aspect of her life through her selfless giving, caring, kindness and attentiveness to her husband, children and grandchildren.  Anna ALWAYS  found the time to listen, teach and offer her love and support.  Her love and genuine caring shined through in EVERY action. She was a devoted, selfless, caring and loving woman who will be GREATLY MISSED.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Ted (Theodore John) and Bertha and her beloved husband, Officer Louis Weber Hoover, Jr. (retired Baltimore City Police Department) who passed away February 21st, 2006 at the age of  61.

Anna is survived by her devoted children: John, Debra Ann, Jason-Louis and Brian-Louis, and her cherished grandchildren: Alexis, Cara, Liam and Kate who were her heart and soul.
