Agnes M. Poore, 89 of North East, MD, daughter of the late James and Jeannie (McIntyre) McLennan passed away, Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Calvert Manor Healthcare Center, Rising Sun, MD.

Agnes will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Agnes was dearly loved by everyone who knew her.  She dearly loved reading, putting puzzles together and family gatherings.

She is survived by her sons: James T. “Tippy” Poore, Jr. of North East, MD and Jeffrey P. Poore of Elk Mills, MD; and daughter: Nancy Lynn Dabler (Jack) of Colora, MD; daughter-in-law: Dana Poore of North East, MD; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by two brothers: John McLennan of Chesapeake City, MD and Robert McLennan (Betty) of Earleville, MD; two sisters: Betty Hallman of Oxford, PA and Elsie Hufford of Galena, MD; and her sister-in-law: Beverly McLennan.

She was also preceded in death by her husband: James T. Poore, Sr.; son: Wayne Lee Poore; and brother: William McLennan.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 3, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm until service time.

Private family only interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD where Agnes will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations may be made to Calvert Manor Healthcare Center or Hart's Methodist Church, both in care of the funeral home.
